Last Sunday, I was traveling for work, so didn’t post anything. Chad got the siding put back up (remember, termites) and the siding repainted. This Sunday the work continued outside as the cedar shaker shingles got stained and it looks good, but the pictures do not do it justice. The house will be a different color, but priority was getting those shaker shingles sealed before we had more damage. Progress – that is what I’m calling it.
Can’t see but 2 new wall studs (gotta keep the house up)Almost all sealed up – also pay attention to the left of the picture for the non-stained shaker shinglesIt is weird – it is sealed/stained, and will put another coat on, but the sun makes it look almost a brown/gray or really dark brown depending on where you are standing. I have a house that changes colors. HA!Back patio (the awning had never been treated either)Ok – so we are taking out all of the hedges in front of the garage and on the side of the house and putting in these flowerpots with flowers. We have a guy who is going to come and chop out all of the stumps (I was not allowing Chad to do that due to his hand). Sharing as Chad also cleaned his garage – he never knew what to do with this massive wrench and sent me the pic – so sharing as he thinks it is cool.
