I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend! We didn’t get as much done on the house as we wanted, but that is ok. We did have a great time at the BBQ Cookoff with Ciera and Dylan on Saturday. There were 32 entries and Ciera came in 1st for her Ribeye entry and Dylan 9th on his Brisket. Congrats to them!!!
We did get the siding up (thank goodness as it is supposed to rain this week) and the way Chad took the photos, it makes the house look really odd. I didn’t have the energy to retake them, so it is what it is. We did get the cupboards and sink out of the kitchen. This is the next wall that we will be opening up and we wanted to have it opened and have the new header in. That did not happen. We are going to be raising the ceiling in that section of the kitchen, so yes, there are holes in the wall and ceiling and I couldn’t be happier! Let’s just say, I got a little zealous as I was destructing while Chad put in our temporary sink.
