We did get some stuff done, but with Chad on call, we had some delays and a few rain delays too. The one happy delay was Ciera made me a chocolate cake with chocolate cheesecake in the middle all from scratch for my birthday. Yes, it is a month delayed, but she was busy, so all is good in my book! She also made it gluten free so she could enjoy some too. Got to say, it is delicious and will be my breakfast all week! I’m glad we are calling it a weekend, but at the same time, there is so much to do. After next weekend, we will in a place that things are going to get really crazy – like a chicken and the egg scenario and not sure what will happen. Stay tuned!
This weekend we did get the mini-split installed, wired and installed the little lights in the ceiling and started to get the ceiling insulation in. I don’t think the ceiling photos show it, but we do have the holes drilled to run the wiring and lights in the main ceiling section. Next weekend, we should again see some good progress.
